Sam's Daily Routine
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at six thirty. He quickly/briskly/slowly gets dressed and makes/eats/prepares a quick bite to eat. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is designing websites, which he sometimes struggles with.
During his break, Sam chats with colleagues. When his workday wraps up, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam has supper and relaxes with his family or friends. Before bed, he gets ready for sleep. Finally, Sam turns in for the night at around ten/eleven.

Susan Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
A New Friend
Sam was feeling a little lonely. He wished to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was playing in the yard, he spotted something different. It was a little creature with colorful feathers. Sam slowly went up to the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature smiled and replied Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new mate. They spent the rest of the day playing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
